Masai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers.

Itinerary

Day 1Diani Beach – Masai Mara - 3 Days Masai Mara

You will be picked from your hotel at 6:30am and transferred to Moi Airport if staying North Coast or at Ukunda airstrip if staying in South Coast for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara. Flight leaves at 7:30 from Mombasa Airport and 8.00am from Ukunda Airstrip, flight takes about 2 hours to Masai Mara.

On arrival in Masai Mara, you will be met by a Lodge/Camp driver/guide with a 4×4 Land cruiser for a short game drive en-route to the Lodge/Camp for Check-in. Lunch in the Lodge/Camp. After lunch you will have an afternoon game drive from 3.30pm to 6:00pm in the evening searching for the big 5 and other wild animals.

The reserve shelters elephant, black rhino, buffalo, plains zebra, hartebeest, lion, leopard and cheetah. Moreover, animals like the hippo and the crocodile can be found in the rivers. The lodge may arrange for a Masai village walk at an extra cost. Dinner and Overnight at the Fig Tree Camp

Day 2Masai Mara

After breakfast you will have a full day game drive (1 morning game drive and 1 Afternoon game drive) with picnic lunch. Masai Mara is a home for the big 5, which includes Lions, cheetah, Elephants, Buffaloes, Rhinos. Leopard, gnus, , zebras, antelopes, dik dik are among the wildlife here and hundreds of bird life, you can opt for an early morning balloon safari at extra cost, this can be arranged in advance at our office. Dinner and Overnight at the Fig Tree  Camp

Day 3Masai Mara – Diani Beach - 3 Days Masai Mara

After breakfast you will have the last Game drive until lunch time. Lunch in the bush then transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight, which departs at 2:00pm. On arrival at approximately 4:30pm you will be met by our driver and transferred back to your hotel in North Coast or South coast.

6 Days 5 nights Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara

  Tour Details Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration.
