This is a Fascinating safari involving 3 great game parks. Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya at 13,747 square kilometers. Situated in a semi-arid area previously known as the Taru Desert it opened in April 1948, and is located near the town of Voi in the Taita-Taveta County.
Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.

Day 1MOMBASA – TSAVO EAST – 4 Days Tsavo East-Amboseli
Depart early in the morning at 6:00am and drive to Tsavo East. Arrive in time for game drive immediately after park entrance formalities at the gate. Lunch at Voi safari Lodge and watch animals drinking water at the water hales. After lunch proceed with game drive from 3.30pm until 6.00pm with chances of seeing some of the big 5 and many other animals.
Visitors can view a variety of animals at the park, including elephant, rhino if lucky, lion, leopard, crocodile, waterbuck, kudu, gerenuk, zebra and Aruba Hunter’s hartebeest. You will observe the large herds of Red Elephants (Red due to red dust of tsavo) There are also about 500 species of birds, including the ostrich, and migratory birds like kestrels and buzzards. Day 2TSAVO EAST – AMBOSELI – 4 Days Tsavo East-Amboseli
Have an early morning game drive at 6:30 am until 8:00 am time for breakfast. After breakfast you will check out of the lodge and depart for Amboseli national park arriving in time for game drive on route to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will relax until 4:00pm time for an afternoon game drive until 6:30pm. Wildlife here includes the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, caracal and serval cat, lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, wild dog, and hippo.
There are also over 400 species of birds, including the bee-eater, kingfisher, African fish eagle, marital eagle and pygmy falcon. You will also enjoy excellent views of Mt Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. Dinner and Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge
Day 3AMBOSELI – TAITA HILLS – 4 Days Tsavo East-Amboseli
Have an early morning game drive from 6:30am to 8.00am, time for breakfast. After breakfast. Depart for Taita hills Game reserve for lunch at Taita hill lodge. After lunch embark for an afternoon game drive from 4:00pm to 6:30pm. Taita hills game sanctuary is a private game reserve managed privately by Sarova Hotels, taken over from Hilton. The sanctuary boasts for big game, which includes Lion, cheetah, Elephants, Buffaloes and many more wild animals and bird life.
(Optional you can go for a hot air balloon ride), this can be arranged in advance at extra cost in our office upon booking the safari. Dinner and overnight at Saltlick Lodge or Lions Bluff Lodge
Day 4TAITA HILLS – MOMBASA
Early morning game drive at 6:30am until 8:00am time for Breakfast. After breakfast proceed with game drive on route voi town hotel for lunch. After lunch it’s bye bye and drive back to Mombasa. Arrive in your hotel in the evening.
